These are 20-30mm A grade tumbled pieces of Howlite. Howlite occurs as white with grey or black veins and was first discovered in Nova Scotia in 1868 by Henry How. It is known to be a symbol of calmness and is a calcium borosilicate hydroxide and a member of the Borate family. Found only in a few locations, today’s main mines are in California and Nevada.
